Mathews County’s broadband expansion project is enlarged thanks to a grant funding increase. According to the Gazette-Journal the project which was to provide service to just over 400 customers will add another 60 locations at no additional cost to the county. A list of service locations is availabloe at mathewscountyva.gov. Work is also progressing on broadband towers at Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad and Mathews Volunteer Fire Department Station 2
