The Mathews Polar Plunge is set to happen on Saturday. According to the Gazette-Journal the event was rescheduled from last month due to the snowstorm. A $10 donation gets you entry to the water off Haven Beach and donations are also welcome from those who don’t chose to jump in the water. Event organizer Amy Ashberry says proceeds benefit “No Walls Community Day” which is the annual school supply giveaway event in August.
