The Town of Montross gets its first applicant for its business incentive programs that was implemented last year. According to News on the Neck the couple applied for a rental assistance grant which pays for the first year of a 3-year lease. Town manager Patricia Lewis says the property owner is encouraged to only charge rent for the first year of the grant amount. The exact business location wasn’t revealed.
