The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors decides to delay moving the due date for county taxes from December 5 to November 5. According to the Rappahannock Record commissioners want more time to determine what the impact will be for taxpayers. Supervisors had discussed moving the date so it is further away from the holiday season and it will promote paying early. The board will continue looking at the move when it meets next month.
