Rumble strip installation work takes place in Mathews and Middlesex counrties from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. In Mathews County the work is on routes 3, 14 and 198. In Middlesex County work is on Route 3 between Route 33 and the Mathews County line, Route 33 between Courthouse Drive and Route 3 as well as Route 227 between Route 33 and Urbanna. You may encounter delays in those areas.
