Virginia Could Receive Federal Grant For EV Chargers

Virginia could receive over $100 million from the federal government to install electric vehicle charges. According to News 8 the U.S. Department of Transportation is allocating $5 billion nationwide to expend the efectric vehicle charging network. Each state is required to submit an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Plan to receive the money. The feds say Virginia currently has over 950 miles of roadway with charging infrastructure.
