Winter Waterfowl Count Volunteers Needed

The Northern Neck Chapter of the Audubon Society is seeking volunteers to assist in a winter waterfowl census count on February 5 and 6. According to the Rappahannock Record the count started in 2019 and focuses on the Lower Rappahannock-Potomac rivers, tributaries and adjacent lands. Volunteers are asked to spend 2-3 hours identifying and counting the waterfowl around rivers, the bays and wetland-marsh areas.
