The help wanted sign is out for chief information officer at the Virginia Information Technologies Agency as Phil Wittmer resigned less than a month after taking over the job from Nelson Moe. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports Governor Glenn Youngin’s office confirmed Wittmer’s departure but gave no reason for why he stepped down. Before coming to Virginia Wittmer worked as a private IT consultant.
