Gov. Glenn Youngkin gives Virginia hospitals and nursing homes flexibility to increase bed capacity and their staff as they face ongoing personnel challenges due to COVID-19. A prior executive order was to have expired on Monday and the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association asked Youngkin to extend it. It is now in effect until March 22 unless amended or rescinded.
