The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority announced an online lottery later this month will be held with the prize being the right to purchase a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve bourbon. According to the ABC there will be 3 lotteries – one for the 23 year, 20 year and 15 year varieties. Entries will be accepted starting March 9 and winners will be announced by March 28.
