Work is beginning on a broadband internet expansion project in Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex and Caroline counties. According to the Richmond-Times dispatch the $7.2 million project by cable provider Breezeline will add 150 miles of broadband network with the first connections scheduled for May. Breezeline officials say crews will require access to utility easements both above and under ground and residents will be notified when workers are in their area.
