The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released its latest COVID-19 Community Levels map last week and the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck all have a low level which is based on the current level of new cases per 100,000 population in the past 7 days. According to WTVR the CDC’s low rating means healthy people can safely take a break from wearing masks but still need to comply with municipal mask requirements.
