A heads up if you need to use State Route 606 in Essex County also known as Fairfield Lane. The road will be will be closed all week at a quarter mile from Muddy Gut Road
for replacement of deteriorating storm drains. A detour route is posed at the county’s Facebook page. Officials say the existing pipes will be replaced by State Forces with a dual run of 24 inch concrete drains.
