Fencing And Grass To Be Installed At Mill Creek Boat Ramp

Middlesex County’s Board of Supervisors is trying a new solution to stop the silt buildups at the Mill Creek Boat Launch. According to the Southside Sentinel the Board led by Hartfield representative John Koontz will install fencing and plant American Beach Grass as a way to keep the public boat ramp open and to give lawmakers time to find funds needed to have the site engineered. The ramp is maintained by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources.
