The General Assembly passes a bill to allow hunting on public land in Virginia on Sundays. Hunting on private lands was approved in 2014 but only with the land owner’s permission. The bill prohibited hunting or using hunting dogs within 200 feet of a place of worship and that provision is not changed in the new bill. The measure now goes to Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s desk.
