The Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office has its first woman officer on its SWAT team. The department announced Deputy Danielle Woodard was selected after going through a rigorous mental and physical process. It included a strenuous physical fitness test, a firearms test requiring scores in the 90 percentile or higher and an interview board consisting of existing experienced tactical team members to determine aptitude, experience, and motivation. Woodard joined the team last week.
