Grocery Tax Repeal Close To Becoming Law

Virginia’s grocery tax could soon be a thing of the past now that the House of Delegates and Senate passed separate bills to repeal the tariff. According to WFXR the next step is for both chamber to reconcile differences between each bill. Virginia is one of 13 states that has a grocery tax which according to reseachers brings in about $600 million a year.
