Opponents to Middlesex County’s Confederate monument at the Historic Courthouse appeared at a recent Board of Supervisors meeting to call for its removal. According to the Southside Sentinel the board voted yes on removing the memorial but an advisory vote last November came back with the public not wanting it removed. The Board is now looking into possibly placing the monument in a museum.
