The Middlesex County School Board’s proposed 2022-2023 budget calls for a nearly $785,000 increase over the current spending plan. According to the Southside Sentinel the $12.3 million plan calls for a 7% pay increase for teachers and staff along with additional funding for health insurance premium increases, maintaining competitive salaries and increasing professional learning/support. The board wants to add a human resources specialist, a maintenance worker and a fulltime athletic trainer.
