Governor Glenn Youngkin will soon set a date for lawmakers to return for a special session to pass the commonwealth’s 2022-2023 bedget. The General Assembly adjourned the 2022 sesson on Saturday without passing a spending plan as the two chambers couldn’t agree on a number of items. Youngkin says he’s encouraged with the recent progress on the budget and is grateful to the members on both sides of the aisle for their efforts.
