Tappahannock-Essex Volunteer Fire Department crews were kept busy Monday with a number of calls which they say were the result of the warmer temperatures and strong winds. The first was at the Essex Solar Farm in Dunnsville and the others were on Rt. 360 near Pauls Cross Road, Mt. Landing Rd near Scotts Mill Rd, and Johnville Rd in Dunnsville. 3 EMS calls also came in as the fires were being extinguished.
