The Town of Kilmarnock reminds residents that Virginia’s annual tornado drill on March 8 at 9:45 a.m. Officials say the test warning will be issued differently than the live code so people will need to have their NOAA Weather Radio already turned on to hear the tones. There will be no followup statements after the drill ends. The drill is part of Virginia’s Severe Weather Awareness Week from March 7 through March 11.
