The Three Rivers Health District, received a $10,000 grant to help medical volunteers support their communities during COVID-19 and other crises. According to the Free-Lance Star the money is from the National Association of County and City Health Officials as part of the 2022 Medical Reserve Corps Operational Readiness Awards. District officials say the money will expand CPR training of volunteers and will improve mobile equipment used for COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics.
