Virginia Hits 19,000 COVID-19 Related Deaths

The Virginia Department of Health reports 19,000 people have died since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the deaths occurred last month and are just being reported because of a delay in updating data. The 19,000 mark was reached just before the 2-year anniversary of the commonwealth’s first coronavirus case on March 7, 2020. Since then over 1.6 million cases were recorded.
