Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares is joining in a lawsuit brought by more than 20 other attorneys general which seeks to end federal masking requirements on public transportation. The suit initially filed by Florida’s AG wants the 2021 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s mandate lifted and blocked from being enforced. The plaintiffs say the mandate is an example of federal overreach and is also outdated.
