All Virginia State Parks campgrounds are once again open. Most close in December and reopen on the first Friday in March. There are 4 campgrounds which remain open year-round. Last month VSP unveiled its new reservation website at reservevaparks.com which officials say has better maps, faster reservations and an improved loyalty program. There’s also an improved waitlist feature to let you know when sites become available.
