The White Stone Town Council unanimously approves purchasing land at the intersection of Rappahannock and Chesapeake Drives. According to the Rappahannock Record the council also approved looking into establishing a line of credit up to $250,000 for use with the downtown revitalization project with some of that to be used for purchasing the nearly half-acre property. The council had previously discussed using the land for public parking.
