Governor Glenn Youngkin sent a letter to the heads of the House and Senate budget committees asking thim to consider the commonwealth’s unprecedented financial position of the Commonwealth and the unique opportunity it presents to accomplish many important goals at the same time. Youngkin’s letter says taxes can be cut while maintaining and strengthening the Commonwealth’s triple A credit rating. Both chambers unveiled their budget proposals last week.
