Lancaster County officials continue to investigate a fatal fire on Tuesday that destroyed multiple businesses and apartments on Irvington Road in Kilmarnock. The Lancaster Sheriff’s Office says the first report of the fire came in about 3:40 AM. Fire Chief Roy Hall told WTVR that firefighters were on the scene within three minutes, and found two apartments fully engulfed. One person was found dead in a downstairs studio apartment.
