GA Resumes Special Session

The General Assembly resumes its special session today and the big task is getting the state budget passed. The House of Delegates and the Senate are $3 billion apart in their 2-year spending plans. Lawmakers will also address bill vetos by Gov. Glenn Youngkin and amendments Youngkin made that require the GA to re-vote on the measures. Another item on the agenda is Youngkin’s proposed 3-month gas tax moratorium.
