Several Gloucester County residents weighed in on the proposed 2022-2023 budget during a recent public hearing. According to the Gazette-Journal some spoke against the proposed three-cent tax real estate tax increase which the Board of Supervisors wants to use for pay increases to Gloucester County and Gloucester school employees. The Board was going for a 6 cent increase but scaled it back. A budget work session takes place today at 7:00 p.m. in the colonial courthouse.
