Guidera Says Budget Delays Keep Students, Parents And Teachers In Limbo

Virginia’s Secretary of Education is calling on the General Assembly to pass the state budget so they can get to work on making historic investments for students now and in the future. In a Richmond Times-Dispatch op-ed Aimee Guidera says it’s important to equip Virginia’s educators with the largest education budget in the commonwealth’s history to address critical issues directly impacting student performance. That includes helping them rebound from COVID-related learning loss.
