This year’s Heathsville Farmers Market opens on Saturday, April 16th. Among the items for sale from the more than 50 vendors are fresh Northern Neck produce and meats, bread and baked goods, flowers and nursery plants, gourmet peanuts and local handcrafts. The Northumberland Association for Progressive Stewardship will be conducting an Earth Day celebration adjacent to the market. Hours are 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
