Lancaster County Public Schools Superintendent Dan Russell is in the hospital recovering from a stroke. According to the Rappahannock Record it happened while Russell was visiting family in West Virginia. School Board Chairman Joan Gravatt says Russell remains hospitalized as his family makes arrangements for his rehabilitation. Director of instruction Jessica Davis was named interim superintendent until further notice.
