Overdue book fines at the Middlesex County Public Library are now a thing of the past. The Southside Sentinel reports the library board decided to permanently adopt the temporary moratorium on fines that went into effect when COVID-19 began. Library card holders checking out materials will continue to receive due date reminders via email inboxes and can check due dates by logging into their accounts on the library’s website.
