Town of Tappahannock officials announces crews will be replacing existing water meters with a new system that enables remote reading. Meters will be replace at no charge. Not only does it eliminate the need for in-person meter reading but also provides customers with more detailed information about their water consumption through an online portal. Replacements begin later this month and will wrap up in August.
