The Urbanna Oyster Festival Foundation cleared out the underbrush on a property that was recently purchased. According to the Southside Sentinel the Foundation bought the 3.5 acre property on Rappahannock Avenue next to Taber Park for $140,000. The goal is to assure open space inside the town limits to enhance the future of the Urbanna Oyster Festival. During the festival the Foundation uses the land for events.
