Youngkin Signs 700 Bills into Law And Vetoes Over 2 Dozen

On Monday Gov. Glenn Youngkin signed 700 bills into law and vetoed more than 2 dozen measures. According to the Governor’s office those vetoes included legislation that raised fees on household waste collection, limited the constitutionally vested authority of the State Corporation Commission, and prohibited “name, image, likeness” deals for high school athletes. More than 840 bills were passed during the General Assembly’s regular session this year.
