COVID-19 cases continue to increase across Virginia. According to the Deaprtment of Health close to 3,900 new cases were reported Thursday bringing the 7-day positivity rate to just over 15%. 21,550 new cases were reported over the past week. Hospitalizations dropped slightly on Thursday. 4 more Virginians died from COVID-19 related complications on Thursday bringing the total number to more than 20,330.
