A prayer vigil for Lancaster County superintendent of schools Dan Russell takes place at 5:00 p.m. today at Town Centre Park in Kilmarnock. According to the Rappahannock Record Russell suffered a massive stroke during spring break and remains hospitalized in West Virginia. Organizers urge attendees to unite and pray for his recovery, for his family and for the school division. All are welcome. Donations will be collected to help pay for travel expenses.
