Ford Settling Lawsuit, Vorginia Gets $384,000

The Ford Motor Company is paying Virginia over $384,000 to settle a lawsuit over product misrepresentation. According to Attorney General Jason Miyares’ office the suit centered around the 2013 and 2014 C-Max hybrid vehicles regarding claimes over fuel economy and mileage per tank of gas. The suit also claimed the company made assertions on its 2011 through 2014 Super Duty pickups that were found false. 40 states joined in on the legal action.
