The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society is partnering with the Fairfield Foundation to hold Archaeology Activity Day on May 14 at the museum on Mary Ball Road from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Executive Director Karen Hart tells the Rappahannock Record that attendees can take part in washing, screening, and sorting artifacts from the museum education collection as well as bring their own archaeological finds to get assistance with identifying and dating them.
