A Virginia Office of the Comptroller audit into Richmond County’s handling of $1.5 million in coronavirus relief funding comes back with no issues. According to News on the Neck the probe covered spending that took place from last August until April and was conducted after the Virginia Department of Accounts found problems with expense categorization and lack of documentation. The department made recommendations which the county is implementing.
