Could Richmond County get a helipad? According to News on the Neck that idea was brought up at a recent Board of Supervisors meeting and lawmakers are all for it. It would be located near the county EMS facility and in a unique twist the pad would be designed by interns working at Delta Airport Consultants. The design work is free of charge. It’s not clear when the Board will vote on approving the project.
