Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck received a $25,000 grant from the Virginia Outdoors Foundation Get Outdoors program. Under the guidance of The Garden Guru owner Carrie Mullins the Club will improve soil and drainage in a youth activity area plus plant grass and fertilize as needed to retain strong turf. Members will also create a perimeter trail with physical fitness and meditative spaces for youth and create garden areas for education and beauty.
