Work is underway to convert Lancaster Middle School to an elementary school. According to News on the Neck demolition of the 6th grade wing is under way. It will be rebuilt as the school’s administrative section. The school will house K through 6th grade. Construction is underway to turn the former Lancaster Public library into a pre-K school. It is planned to open for the coming school year.
