A man known for his 2 decades of yacht building in Urbanna has died. According to Chesapeake Bay Managine Joseph Conboy passed away at the age of 87. Joe built wooden and fiberglass boats at his yard on Robinson Creek specializing in custom-built yacht construction and repairs. He also built sail and trawler yachts using wood and fiberglass. He closed his Urbanna business in 1984 and moved to Maryland then to North Carolina.
