Gloucester Moves Juneteenth Celebration Due To Online Threat

Sunday’s Juneteenth celebration in Gloucester was moved to a different location due to a threat of violence. The Gloucester NAACP told News 3 n their partners at Flat Iron Crossroads decided to cancel the festivities out of an abundance of caution after a threat was posted on a local Facebook page. The event was held at e First United Baptist Church on George Washington Memorial Highway. Police are investigating the threat.
