West Point Public Schools selects Dr. Amy Page Hauser of Gwynn to become chief academic officer. According to the Gazette-Journal Hauser joined the division 4 years ago and was the Specialist for Teaching and Learning where she led the charge to work with teachers and staff pre-K through 12th grades to close learning gaps resulting from the pandemic. She was previously a teacher, central office administrator, and assistant principal for Mathews County Public Schools.
