The Town of Irvington’s Hometown Parade begins at 3 p.m. July 3 on King Carter Drive. Irvington councilwoman and chairman of the special events committee Judy Penniman tells the Rappahannock Record the parade will celebrate the contributions of three exceptional community volunteers and iconic business the Tides Inn. It will also feature decorated bicycles and golf carts, pets, classic cars and floats from businesses.
